The Pain of Healing

Healing is not an easy process, though it is a deeply necessary one. In order to transform into our higher selves, we need to let go of the burdens of the past and close up those old wounds. Healing is painful and raw, though extremely powerful.

I am a witch, and my energy is still polluted by my mother wound to this day. My craft is not as strong as it would be without this toxicity.

No more, say I. I will work through the agonizing emotions, through the self-doubt and self-hatred, through the voice on my shoulder saying that I will never be good enough. I am good enough, I have always been deserving of a better life.

It is not enough just to say "ENOUGH!", however - change requires effort. I will channel my pain to give myself determination, to give myself discipline, to give myself a happier future. I crave wholeness of my soul and I will reenter my own personal hell to achieve that.

I wish you strength on your journey,
Sage

Hello world!

My name is Sage, and I am a 24 year old Witch. I have strong Hellenic ties and have recently started working with Hekate, Goddess of Witches on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and strength building. Mother Hekate's path is not one for the faint of heart, but I believe I can build myself up again through Her darkness. I have quite a few years' experience with Tarot, and use it for shadow work, self-reflection, and problem solving. My name - Sage - was given to me by my mentor.

I plan on using Dreamwidth as a tool to look back on my progress as well as connect with other Hellenic polytheists and Tarot readers for respectful exchanges of ideas and theories.

íthi khaírōn,
Sage
